DRIVE MY CAR / ROBOT DOG I
I like going out at night, this time it was in my van. We drove into Fremantle and pointed the projector out the door. The light hit walls and buildings, showing me in my wonderchair, being followed by my robot dog. I was surprised at how happy I felt, seeing my projection in public.
We also experimented with the joystick controller again. It was set up so I could have a ‘turbo’ button that made my projected wonderchair go faster and let out lots of smoke from the back.
As well as creating the video content for the street projection, I worked on a song to go with it. In some ways, I enjoyed creating the music even more than the video. We used Pro-tools and a new AI plugin to sing the words that I wrote. It was funny hearing a computer AI voice sing the words and I’m really happy with the sounds.
